Confirmation Class
Sundays from 5:30 - 7:30
Beginning February 14th through March 7th
 
If you are in the 6th grade, or older, and have not been through a Confirmation Class,
this is especially for you!
 
WHAT is Confirmation? 

Confirmation has the word "firm" in it. Confirmation is a time when you have the opportunity to make a firm decision whether you will claim the name "Christian" for yourself and whether you will offer your prayers, presence, gifts and service as a member of the United Methodist Church.

5:45 - 6:15  only $3 per person
Would you like to be Chef-for-a-Day?
 
Meals are simple and you are completely reimbursed for costs. 
Usually around 40 folks.
Choose a Wednesday and show off your skills,
or your ability to boil hot dogs... either is GREAT!

Costa Rica Mission Trip
Students and Adult
In partnership with Christ Church United Methodist
July 3-11 2010
 
  • For details check the website Costaricanmissionprojects.com
  • The cost is around $1150 per person. Fundraisers will be done to aid in this cost.  Participants can also write letters requesting support from friends, family, business, etc
  • We will be doing both work projects and evangelism
  • We will plan activities with youth and children of the area.
  • A deposit of $199 is due March 1, 2101.

MISSION FOCUS NIGHT
Sunday February 14 - 5:30 pm
We will share the details of the Costa Rica and Honduras Mission trips this year.  If you think you have an interest in either trip or you just want to hear about them- come and join in 
 
 
WACKY WEDNESDAYS!

From I-65, Hwy 280, Hwy 31:

Get on I-459 South toward Tuscaloosa. Take exit 10 (Hwy 150) and turn left at the light. Then take the first right on to Stadium Trace. Follow Stadium Trace for about one mile Discovery will be on the right before you reach the Hoover Met.

From I-59, Tuscaloosa:

Take I-459 North to exit 10 (Hwy 150). Turn right at the light. Then take the first right on to Stadium Trace. Follow Stadium Trace for about one mile Discovery will be on the right before you reach the Hoover Met.
