Who we are……
Discovery Days Preschool, a ministry of Discovery United Methodist Church, was established in 2000
for the purpose of offering a Christian atmosphere where children can grow and learn according to
their abilities. We strive to help each child feel positive about themselves and the world they live in.
What we believe …...
Our program is designed to socially and academically prepare children for kindergarten, while providing
a safe, fun and loving environment for children. We believe that a child’s family is his primary teacher,
and the ideal initial school experience is one in which the child, his/her family and the teacher all work
together to assure a quality experience for the child. We feel that each individual has a unique contribution
to make and with your involvement, we will enjoy a successful year together.

Fees & Tuition Schedule
Register your child NOW for the 2010—2011 School Year
Early registration helps to ensure your placement in the next school year. Places will be
reserved on a first come first served basis.
Tuition
Tuition is divided into 10 equal payments beginning in August and continuing through May.
The tuition is due on the first of each month for current month. Tuition not paid by the 5th of
each month will be subject to a $10 late charge.
If you have more than one child enrolled in Discovery Days you will receive a 10% discount on
the oldest child’s tuition.
Prior to Starting School
The State of Alabama requires an Alabama Certificate of
Immunization prepared and signed by your physician’s office.
**Our school calendar closely follows the
Hoover City School Calendar.**
